We are very proud at Rode Heath to have played a part in the Robot Orchestra – a collaboration between Manchester University’s Professor Danielle George, local schools and the Halle. Our robot is called Strike A Chord and has been designed to play C Major when struck. It uses a Crumble Controller, which is programmed to move 3 servos to strike the 3 chime bars simultaneously.
The first public performance was in October half-term at the Science Museum in Manchester. The event was covered by Granada News.
