This week Reception took delivery of their very own Tinkering Station. This excellent piece of equipment will enable the children to take apart everyday items to explore how they are put together – their first step in systems thinking. 

Just like engineers, they have real tools to work with and have started exploring with nuts and bolts. From the expressions on their faces, they’re not going to need much persuading!
